What are two misconceptions about cloning?

I would say one of the bigger misconceptions is that the
scientific process of cloning would only mean cloning full human
beings, that is, scientists would only clone because they could, because they had the
technology.  The scientific and human benefits of this technology would most likely come
from other cloning techniques, at a cellular and tissue level, not as full, functioning
beings.

Another misconception is that the decision is at
hand right now.  We do not have the technology as of yet to clone human beings, and
there are already moratoriums and international agreements in place to limit how far
this technology can be developed and applied.  It's not legal in the US and most of
Europe, and Japan to clone a human being.
