Find the area of the circle whose circumference is 34pi

We need to determine the area of the circle whose
circumference is 34pi.

We know that the area of the circle
is:

a = r^2 n pi  where r is the
radius.

Then we need to determine the
radius.

Given that the circumference =
34pi.

==> C = 2* pi * r =
34*pi

We will divide by
2*pi.

==> r= 34pi/
2pi

==> r= 17

Then the
radius of the circle = 17 unit.

Now we will substitute into
the area.

a = r^2 *pi = 17^2 * pi = 289pi = 907.92 square
units.

Then, the area of the circle is 907.92
square units.
