What are two units for force?

Force is defined by Newton's Second Law, which states that
the net force on a particle is equal to the time rate of change of its momentum. The
units for momentum are mass x velocity. Hence the units of force are mass x velocity /
time.

The newton is the SI unit of force, and
is equivalent to 1 kg x m / s^2

The Dyne is the CGS unit of
force, and is equivalent to 1 g x cm /s^2

The pound is the
EEU unit of force, and is equivalent to 1 lb x ft / s^2
