What important events happen in the second half of The Color Purple?

• Celie begins making pants as a

  friends. 


• Corrine
  dies.


• Nettie marries Samuel and Adam marries
  Tashi. 


• Nettie, Samuel, Olivia, Adam and Tashi come to
  the United States.
