Find the equation of the line that passes through the points (0,2) and (2,-3)

To find the equation of the line that passes through (0,2)
and (2,-3).

We know that the equation the  line that passes
through (x1,y1) and (x2, y2) is given by:

(y-y1) =
{(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)} (x-x1).

We substitute (x1,y1) = (0,2) and
(x2,y2) = (2,-3) in the formula , and we get:

y-2 =
{(-3-2)/(2-0)} (x-0)

y-2 =
(-5/2)x

2(y-2) = -5x.

2y-4 =
-5x

5x+2y-4 = 0

Therefore
5x+2y -4 is the line that passes through (0,2) and (2, -3).
